Seventh Grade Summer Homework

To successfully start seventh grade, please complete the activities listed below. 

Grade 7

Lang Arts 2 ADV

Students will read and annotate a common book at each grade level. Students will complete post-reading activities within the first two weeks of school. These may include in-class writings, group discussions, and assessments.

Social Studies

Students will watch the following TedTalk videos. Respond to the quiz questions at the end of each video in complete sentences on college ruled line paper. This will be collected during the first week of school. You do not need to make an account to watch the videos.

 

There will be a discussion in class during the first week in the fall followed by a quiz.

It is highly recommended that students spend time over the summer immersing themselves in the world language they will be taking in seventh grade. Download the app DuoLingo and practice for 10 minutes each day.
